We went on a fabulous vacation to Florida over Halloween. It was really fun! We spent 4 days at the Disney World Resorts, 3 days at the Universal Studios Resorts, and still managed to squeeze in a day at the beach and dinner at Medieval Times dinner theater. Along with visiting the swimming pools at our condo, we were very busy! But it was great! Austin and Shannon were able to attend the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. They close down the park early and change every thing into haunted houses with creepy people and monsters walking around. VERY scary! We were also lucky enough to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Halloween night. They also shut down the park early for this event. Everyone dressed in costumes and played until midnight. They had trick or treating, special dance parties, and Halloween shows. In addition they had all of the rides open. It was a Halloween we will remember for a long time! The whole vacation was fun. (Except for the minor skin reaction that James had to his sunburn from the beach that kept him in the hotel room for a few days.) The only bad thing about the trip was the long airplane ride. The younger kids didn't like that part.
