Parker's Pickle

Today Austin and I were on our way to the South Town Mall when we heard on the radio (101.9 the end) that one of Parker's (the DJ) interns was going to be dressed up as the Nally Pickle, walking the street, and giving away envelopes filled with various prizes. They mentioned Linkin Park tickets and that is all Austin had to hear. So we took a detour... a LARGE detour, over to 2100 s. and 300 w. to see if we could find him. And we did. We actually beat him there. But after waiting for a few minutes, from across the intersection we saw him. A giant pickle! We rushed over to where he was to make sure we got there before the crowd did. And it was a good thing we did. As soon as we pulled up and parked so that we could get a picture, the crowds came. We both got to draw an envelope to see if we got a prize after saying the required phrase "Parker's Pickle". But needless to say, all we won were 2 coupons for $.75 off a jar of Nally Pickles. Woo! Hoo! But it was fun.
