Flowers

My Mom recently had surgery on her knee and was in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks. During that time her flowers opened up. She called me asking me to run by her house and take some pictures of them for her so she wouldn't miss them. I got this idea to take some close up pictures and enlarge them so I could give her a nice picture of hew own flowers for Mother's Day. So I did. They were pretty, but right in front of a brick wall. I played around with them for quite a while until I came up with something I really liked. And so did she. I did a lot of color enhancing and working with light and shadows. I am really liking how they came out, I think I will make some for me. (After I did these I kind of got on a picture taking kick and tool a lot of pictures of my flowers). Here are the ones that I gave my Mom. (I enlarged them to 8 X 10 and put them into black frames.)
