HOLY COW!!!! I've been married 17 years!
For our anniversary this year we went out to Wendover, NV for the weekend. We stayed at the Peppermill Casino. It was like being stuck in Neon Heaven. HOLY COW! The inside of the casino was all mirrors and neon lights. Very interesting, and disorienting! We didn't spend much time in there. We aren't big gamblers. Just sight see-er's. (Is that a word?)
These pictures are from the restaurant in the Montigo Bay Casion. But it is decorated exactly the same. (Discount on the designer if you order in bulk???) It isn't nearly as bad in the restaurant because they were still trying to be "tropical". Just imagine all of this neon multiplied by about 20. There you have the casino's. Ahhhhhh!
We went to the Peppermill Concert Hall next door and saw Jay Leno perform. He was really funny. I think the funniest thing was that fact that he came out on stage with bed head. He looked like he had taken a nap right before he went out on stage. You'd think someone would tell him that his hair was sticking up in the back and all messy in front. It was actually kind of distracting. But funny. Here is a clip from the show.
