Madison was so excited to build a leprechaun trap, that she came straight home from school ON St. Patty's day with all sorts of ideas. We explained that the leprechauns don't usually wander around later in the day. Usually the night before and early morning of the 17th. But she insisted on making a trap. She found a box, cut it out, found a stick, and collected "shiny bait" (garbage) to put in the trap. We went to dinner at the in laws house, and when we came home it was all still in place. She was so upset that she didn't catch one and that she wouldn't be able to get her 3 wishes and get anything she wanted. She cried for 10 minutes. So we told her to leave the trap up until morning and maybe there would be a straggler leprechaun wandering around that might see her shiny stuff and stop by. And low and behold, we were right! The trap wasn't fast enough though, he disappeared before the box fell, but left a pile of green glitter and gold coins. How awesome! The girls were SO excited this morning! Of course I didn't get a picture of THAT. I was way too tired to grab my camera.

Awwww. That is really cute. Brought back memories of when you guys were little and I had energy enough to do that kind of stuff. Now it just makes me admire you. Sure looks like fun though.
Lance the Magician was at Atria on St. Patty's Day.
So fun! I'm glad Madison got so close to catching that sneaky leprechaun! =)
